Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the sunset cruise? Is it chilly at night?

A: I went on the cruise last month and wore a light sundress and flip-flops. It was warm at sunset, but I brought a light sweater for later, which was perfect. Definitely wear something comfortable and don't forget sunscreen! Also, if you're prone to seasickness, consider bringing medication just in case.

Q: Are there age limits for kids on the cruise? Can my toddler come?

A: Yes, kids are more than welcome! I took my 3-year-old and he had a blast. They have life jackets for little ones, too. Just keep an eye on them as the boat can rock a bit. It’s a great family experience, especially with the dolphin sightings!

Q: How likely are we to see whales on this trip? Is it worth it during the off-season?

A: If you go between November and May, there's a good chance you'll see humpback whales! We went in March and saw several. Even outside that season, we spotted dolphins and sea turtles, which was really awesome too. Definitely worth it for the views and the experience!

Just booked Moana’s sunset cruise for my anniversary!

I can’t wait for this experience! I read that the Moana catamaran has really comfy seating and even a sound system. Plus, we’ll get to see the sunset over Oahu. I think we might bring a picnic for the ride. Anyone have tips for the best spots to watch the sunset from the boat? Also, how crowded does it get?

Is Moana’s cruise kid-friendly?

Thinking of booking this for my family. My kids are 5 and 7. Do they have life jackets? What's the vibe like for kids? Are there good areas for them to play while we’re cruising?
