As you swim off of the coast of the world famous Waikiki beach, you’ll realize you’ve found your very own piece of paradise. Just far away enough from the bustling travelers and crowded beaches, the crystal-clear water will bring a calmness and serenity like no other. For those who prefer to take in the views from the comfort of the catamaran, the Moana boasts ample cushioned seating in all areas of the vessel, along with two netted lounge areas perfect for sipping on an ice cold refreshment and enjoying the music. After our swim, we set sail and race past the most photographed location in all of Hawaii, Diamond Head Crater*. Along the way we might even see Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins or flying fish (Malolo)*. **THIS IS NOT A SNORKEL** -The use of snorkel gear will not be permitted. *experience dependent on weather conditions! While wildlife is frequently seen, sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Q&A

Q: Are there any age restrictions for the Moana’s Swim’n’Sail Cocktail Cruise?

A: The Moana’s Swim’n’Sail is generally suitable for all ages, but kids must be accompanied by an adult. Just make sure they can swim well, as it’s not a snorkeling experience, and there’s some swimming involved. If you’re taking little ones, consider their comfort in the water and keep a close eye on them during the swim.

Q: What should we wear for the cocktail cruise? Is it casual or more upscale?

A: Casual is definitely the way to go! You’ll want a swimsuit since there’s swimming involved, and I’d recommend flip-flops or water shoes. A lightweight cover-up is nice for when you’re on the boat. Also, don’t forget sunscreen and a hat – you’ll be soaking up those rays while sipping cocktails!

Q: What happens if the weather doesn't cooperate? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather is bad, Moana Sailing Co. will notify you ahead of time and offer to reschedule your cruise. They’re pretty flexible about that, but just make sure to check their cancellation policy when you book. It’s always best to have a backup plan in case of rain or high winds!

Thinking about gifting the Moana’s Swim’n’Sail for my friend's birthday! Any thoughts?

I came across this Moana’s Swim’n’Sail Cocktail Cruise and it looks amazing! I love that it’s not a snorkel tour but still includes swimming off Waikiki. The idea of sipping cocktails while enjoying the view of Diamond Head and possibly seeing dolphins sounds like a perfect birthday gift. Just not sure if it will be too laid-back for my friend who loves more adventurous activities. Has anyone done this? What did you think?

Just got back from the Moana’s Swim’n’Sail and wow!

I just went on the Moana’s Swim’n’Sail cruise last week with some friends, and it was incredible! We swam in the clearest water and had drinks while soaking up the sun. Seeing Diamond Head from the boat was amazing! Just a heads up though, you might want to book early because it fills up fast!
