Q&A
A: The Mogollon Rim Sunset Helicopter Tour is generally suitable for kids aged 3 and up. However, they need to be able to fit properly in the safety gear and sit in their own seat. It’s a thrilling ride, so if your kid is scared of heights or loud noises, this might not be the best fit. But families with older kids usually have a blast!
A: Yes, Apex Air Tours does reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate. They prioritize safety and won't fly in bad conditions. If you have a gift voucher, you can reschedule easily, just call them! They’re pretty flexible as long as you give them enough notice.
A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly up there, especially during sunset. I'd suggest a light jacket and comfortable shoes since you’ll be sitting for a bit. Also, don’t forget sunglasses – the views are stunning but bright! You'll definitely want to capture those photos.

Just got back from the Mogollon Rim Sunset Helicopter Tour! Wow!
I did the Mogollon Rim Sunset Helicopter Tour last weekend and it was incredible! We took off from the Sedona Airport and the views were breathtaking right from the start. Flying over the red rock formations and then into the canyons was surreal. Our pilot shared some cool history about the ancient ruins. Totally worth the price for the memories! Can't wait to go again!
Thinking about gifting the helicopter tour, any advice?
I’m really tempted to gift the Mogollon Rim Sunset Helicopter Tour to my partner for their birthday. Anyone done this? Are the views really worth it? Also, is it pretty romantic for a couple's outing? Need to make sure it’s a hit!
