Q&A
A: Kids of all ages are welcome! However, if they're under 8, it's worth checking with the Pacific Whale Foundation to ensure they feel comfortable in the water. The crew is super supportive and encourages beginners, so it should be a fun experience for families!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit! I’d also recommend bringing a rash guard or something to protect your skin from the sun. Flip flops are fine for getting on and off the boat, but if you’re planning to walk on rocky beaches, water shoes might be better. Sunblock is a must, but go for reef-safe options!
A: If the weather isn't safe, the Pacific Whale Foundation will usually cancel the trip and offer to reschedule or issue a refund. They keep a close eye on conditions, so you won't be left stranded! Just make sure to check your email for updates as your date approaches.

Just got back from the Molokini snorkeling trip - WOW!
I went on the Molokini and Turtle Arches snorkeling trip last week, and it was unreal! The water was crystal clear, and I saw so many colorful fish. The BBQ lunch was a nice touch too; that teriyaki chicken was delicious. I was a little nervous since I’m new to snorkeling, but the staff were super helpful. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Maui!
Thinking about gifting the Molokini trip - any advice?
I'm considering gifting the snorkeling trip to my brother for his birthday. He's never snorkeled before; do you think it would be a good fit? Also, how long is the trip? I want to make sure he enjoys it and isn't overwhelmed.
