Q&A
A: Yes, kids are welcome on the Molokini trip! However, it's recommended that children be at least 5 years old to snorkel and have basic swimming skills. The crew is super friendly and can help with any little ones who might need a hand!
A: Definitely wear a swimsuit and bring a cover-up or light shirt for when you're not in the water. Flip-flops or water shoes work great too! Don't forget a hat and sunglasses to shield from the sun. Sail Maui provides reef safe sunscreen, which is awesome.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Sail Maui will reach out to you to reschedule your trip. They usually give options for the next available dates. Just make sure to book in advance since spots fill up fast, especially during peak season!

Just booked the Molokini snorkel sail, any tips?
I just snagged tickets for the Molokini snorkel and performance sail at Mā’alaea Harbor. It's my first time snorkeling, and I'm a bit nervous but excited! I've heard the food is great, and I'm looking forward to seeing all the tropical fish. Anyone have specific tips for a newbie? Also, how's the sailing experience? Any advice would be awesome!
Anyone else obsessed with Molokini?
I did the Molokini snorkel trip last month and I can't stop talking about it! The water was so clear, and swimming with all those colorful fish was surreal. The lunch they provided was delicious too! If you’re thinking about gifting this experience, do it! It’s worth every penny.
