Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this tour? Can kids join?

A: There’s no strict age limit for this tour! Kids are definitely welcome, and it can be a great family outing. Just keep in mind that some parts of the tour, like the Monterey Bay Aquarium, might be more enjoyable for older kids. It’s a long day - about 11 hours - so make sure they’re up for it.

Q: What should I wear for this day trip? Is it chilly by the coast?

A: Definitely bring layers! It can be warm in SF but chilly along the coast, especially near the ocean. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea, and you'll want comfortable shoes since there's some walking involved in places like Carmel and the aquarium.

Q: Are food options available on the tour? Can I bring my own snacks?

A: You’ll have time to grab snacks and coffee in Davenport, and there's plenty of options in Monterey too! However, bringing your own snacks is totally fine, especially if you have dietary restrictions or just want to save some cash. Just be considerate of any mess!

Thinking of gifting the Monterey and Carmel tour!

Hey everyone! I’m considering this full-day tour from SF for my sister's birthday. She loves nature and has always wanted to see the aquarium. The two-hour stop at Monterey sounds just right! But I’m a bit worried about the long day. Anyone done this recently? What was the vibe like?

Just got back from the Monterey, Carmel tour!

OMG, you guys! Just did the full day tour and it was everything I hoped for. The 17-Mile Drive blew my mind! Stopping at Pebble Beach was epic. Also, the seafood in Monterey? To die for! Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes, we did a ton of walking and photo-taking.
