Q&A
A: The best time to go is typically spring or fall. The weather is mild, and you'll get clearer views of the stunning landscapes. Summer can be really hot, which might not be comfortable in a small plane. Try to schedule it early in the morning or later in the afternoon for the best light!
A: There isn't a strict age limit, but children must be able to wear the headsets and understand the safety instructions. It’s best suited for ages 5 and up. Make sure to check with Redtail Air if you're planning to bring younger kids.
A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly at higher altitudes, even in summer. A light jacket and comfortable shoes are perfect. Avoid loose items that could fly away, and don't forget sunglasses for the glare from the sun!

Thinking about gifting the Monument Valley and Canyonlands flight!
I’m considering this scenic charter flight for my parents’ anniversary. They love nature and I think this would be an unforgettable experience! The tour lasts around 2 hours and covers so much of the incredible landscape. Has anyone done this? Any tips on how to make it special?
Just did the canyonlands flight - WOW!
I took the Monument Valley and Canyonlands flight last weekend, and it was unreal. The views from above are something else! The pilot gave us live commentary that made it even more interesting. I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a unique gift or a fun day out.
