Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this tour? Can younger kids join?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but kids around 5 and older tend to enjoy it more. They’ll get to see the incredible sights and hear the stories. Just keep in mind that the tour can be bumpy in the 4x4, so it's good to check with the guide if you’re unsure. It’s definitely a family-friendly experience!

Q: Can you reschedule if the weather is bad? What’s the cancellation policy?

A: Yes, you can definitely reschedule if the weather is not cooperating. They’re pretty flexible with cancellations due to weather. Just reach out to them a day or so in advance if you can. It’s best to check their cancellation policy on their site for the most accurate info!

Q: What should I wear for the backcountry tour? Will it be cold in the evening?

A: Dress in layers! Mornings and evenings can be chilly, but during the day it heats up. A light jacket, comfortable shoes, and maybe a hat are good ideas. Plus, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen since you’ll be exposed to the sun a lot!

Thinking about gifting the Monument Valley Backcountry Tour!

I'm considering giving my parents the Monument Valley Extended Backcountry Tour for their anniversary. They love exploring new places and learning about different cultures. I heard the Navajo guide really brings the history to life. Is it worth the price? Any tips on making it special for them?

Just got back from the Monument Valley tour - WOW!

I finally did the Monument Valley Extended Backcountry Tour last week, and it was unreal! Our guide was super knowledgeable and showed us places that you can't access on the regular tours. The Navajo rug weaving demo was a highlight. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves nature and culture!
