Q&A

Q: Are there any age limits for the Electric Bike Tour?

A: Yes, riders need to be at least 16 years old to participate in the Electric Bike Tour. If you're thinking about bringing younger kids along, they can ride in a trailer if they're under 5. Just make sure to check in with the provider beforehand to confirm the details.

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of the tour?

A: If the weather looks bad, the tour provider will usually offer to reschedule your tour or give you a refund. It's best to monitor the forecast and contact them directly if you have concerns the day before.

Q: What should I wear for the bike tour?

A: Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes are key! I recommend wearing athletic wear and closed-toe shoes. Don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen if it’s sunny. The tour includes a helmet, so that’s covered!

Just did the Electric Bike Tour, and it was AMAZING!

I just got back from the Monumental Electric Bike Tour in DC, and wow! The route takes you from the Capitol to the Lincoln Memorial, and riding around the Tidal Basin is a must. The e-bikes are super fun; I felt like I was zooming without breaking a sweat. Our guide was super informative too! Perfect gift for anyone who loves sightseeing or wants to try something new. Definitely recommend!

Thinking of gifting the Electric Bike Tour to my parents!

Has anyone gifted this experience? I'm considering it for my parents' anniversary, but they’re not super active. Do you think they’d enjoy it? The idea of zipping around DC sounds fun, but I want to make sure it’s not too strenuous for them.
