Q&A

Q: Is there any age limit for kids at Moody Gardens? I want to bring my 5-year-old and my 8-year-old.

A: No age limits at Moody Gardens, which is awesome! It's super family-friendly, so your 5 and 8-year-old will love it. Just keep an eye on them, especially in the Aquarium since some tanks can be pretty tall! Also, the Rainforest Pyramid is really interactive, so they'll have a blast.

Q: How crowded does Moody Gardens get on weekends? Thinking of going this Saturday.

A: Saturdays can get pretty busy, especially when there are events or good weather! I recommend getting there early, like when they open, to avoid long lines. If you can wait until the afternoon, it might clear out a bit. Parking is free though, so that’s a plus!

Q: What should we wear? Is it humid in the rainforest area?

A: The rainforest area is definitely humid and warm, so dress light! I'd recommend breathable clothes and comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot. Flip-flops are great, but maybe avoid them if you plan on playing in the splash zones by the aquarium! Bring a light jacket for the aquarium—it can get chilly in there.

Moody Gardens Review: Totally Worth It!

Just got back from Moody Gardens and it was an absolute blast! The Rainforest Pyramid was so beautiful, and the monkeys were entertaining. The best part was the underwater tunnel in the aquarium—seeing sharks swim overhead was mind-blowing! I highly recommend it for families or anyone who loves animals. Can't wait to go again!
