Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for this wine tour? Can I bring my 17-year-old?

A: You can bring your 17-year-old, but they won't be able to participate in the tastings since the legal drinking age in California is 21. However, they might still enjoy the vineyard tour and the beautiful scenery. Just make sure to check with the provider, Ag Venture Tours, if they have any specific rules about minors.

Q: Is there a chance this tour could get canceled due to weather?

A: Yes, the tour might be affected by really bad weather, but generally, the climate in Carmel Valley is pretty mild. If they do have to cancel, Ag Venture Tours usually gives a full refund or helps you reschedule. So, it’s good to check the forecast the day before!

Q: How much time should we allocate for this tour? I want to plan the day well.

A: You should plan for about 4-5 hours total for the tour. This includes the educational walk and tastings at Bernardus Winery, plus additional time for the second location. If you want to grab lunch afterward in Carmel, that could add another hour or so. Just make sure to pace yourself and enjoy the views!
