Your 40-foot rigid-hulled inflatable boats were handcrafted on Kaua‘i specifically for this stretch of coastline. Designed for both comfort and agility, they’re large enough to offer a smooth ride across the open ocean, yet nimble enough to slip into sea caves and hug the coast for an unforgettable, up-close experience. Unlike other rafts that seat you along the inflatable tubes—with your back to the view half the time—your vessels feature forward-facing seats, so you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Nā Pali’s cliffs and waterfalls throughout the entire journey. All of your tours depart from Hanalei Bay on Kaua‘i’s North Shore, giving you direct access to Nā Pali in just 15 minutes. Most other tour boats leave from Port Allen which is nearly 2 hours from the North Shore. Led by some of the most experienced captains and crew in the industry, you’ll hear captivating stories and legends that bring the coast’s history to life.

Q&A

Q: Are there any age or weight limits for the Na Pali Adventure Tour?

A: There aren't strict age limits, but kids should be at least 5 years old to enjoy the ride safely. As for weight, the boats can accommodate most adults, but it's always good to check with the crew ahead of time if you're concerned. They want everyone to have a comfortable experience!

Q: What's the best time of year to go on this tour?

A: The best time is typically between April and October when the weather is usually calmer and the seas are more forgiving. That said, winter months can be hit or miss with waves, but it can still be beautiful if you’re lucky! Just check the forecast before you book.

Q: Do you have to worry about cancellations due to weather?

A: Yes, weather can definitely affect tours, especially in winter. If there's a forecast for high winds or rough seas, they’ll cancel for safety reasons. But they usually try to reschedule you for another day! Make sure to ask about their cancellation policy when booking.

Thinking about gifting the Na Pali Adventure Tour!

I’m considering giving this Na Pali Adventure Tour as a gift for my parents' anniversary. They love the ocean, and I think they’d love the panoramic views and stories from the crew! Has anyone done this? How was the ride? I’m just hoping it’s not too bumpy for them!

Anyone else obsessed with the Na Pali coast?

Just got back from the Na Pali Adventure Tour, and WOW! The sea caves and waterfalls are jaw-dropping. Plus, having forward-facing seats meant we saw everything! Highly recommend! Just be prepared to wear a swimsuit and expect some splashes!
