Q&A
A: You can definitely keep it casual! I wore comfy sneakers and a light jacket since the mornings can be a bit chilly by the water. Just make sure you're comfortable since you'll be walking a lot! Also, layering is a good idea in case it warms up while you're out.
A: Yes! The Salem Food Tours team is great about rescheduling if you give them enough notice. Just reach out to them through email, and they’ll help you find a new date. They understand plans change, especially for gifts!
A: Definitely! Kids around 8 and up would love it. There’s interesting stuff to learn, plus the spice tasting is fun for all ages. Just keep in mind the walking aspect, so maybe factor in breaks if you have younger ones.

Thinking of gifting the Morning Walks in Salem! Any tips?
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the Morning Walks with Salem Food Tours for my sister’s birthday. She loves trying new foods and history! What can I expect? I read you get a breakfast treat, which sounds delicious. How long does the tour usually last? Any advice from those who’ve done it?
Did the Morning Walks last week! Here’s my review!
I just got back from doing the Morning Walks with Salem Food Tours, and wow! The guide was super knowledgeable about the spice trade and local cuisine. Ending with the spice tasting was the highlight! Plus, that chocolate croissant was so good. I highly recommend starting your day this way if you’re in Salem.
