We'll depart from and return to the Folly River Boat Ramp and enjoy a scenic boat ride through the salt marsh creeks of Folly Island to historic Morris Island. Once on Morris Island, you’ll have the opportunity to walk the beach in search of shells, shark teeth, and other fossils. From Morris Island you will also enjoy breathtaking up-close views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. During your journey to and from the island, you will enjoy numerous sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and other saltwater wildlife.

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on the dolphin cruise?

A: There's no strict age limit! Kids of all ages are welcome, but I’d recommend it for 5 and up. The boat ride is pretty smooth, and there’s plenty of room for them to enjoy the views. Just keep an eye on little ones near the edges of the boat.

Q: What should we wear for the Morris Island trip? Is it wet or sandy over there?

A: Definitely wear comfy beach attire! The beach can get sandy and sometimes muddy, so sandals or water shoes are a good idea. Don't forget sunscreen and maybe a hat, especially if it’s sunny! You might want to bring a light jacket for the boat ride since it can be breezy.

Q: What happens if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, they’ll usually contact you at least a few hours before and offer to reschedule. They’re really good about working with you! So, no worries if it rains – just keep an eye on the forecast and you'll be able to find another date that works.

Wow, what an experience! The dolphin sightings were incredible, and the beach on Morris Island is gorgeous. We found so many cool shells and even some shark teeth! The boat ride was fun too, and the guide was super informative. Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a unique outing.
