A: You’ll want to wear something comfortable that you can easily swim in, like a swimsuit. They provide wetsuits, which are really helpful if the water's a bit chilly, but I'd recommend bringing a light cover-up for the boat ride. Just check the weather right before your tour, as it can get a bit breezy!
A: Yes, kids can definitely join! It’s recommended for ages 5 and up, but younger children can come along as long as they're comfortable in the water. Just make sure they can swim or use a life jacket.
A: The best time is definitely winter (December to March) when the manatees are in Crystal River. They come for the warm waters, and you’ll see way more of them! But summer tours are fun too; you just might see fewer manatees, but the water is warmer.

Just did the manatee swim tour, what an experience!
I went on the 3-hour manatee swim tour last weekend, and it was amazing! The guides were super knowledgeable, and we saw at least a dozen manatees. The boat ride was beautiful too. I was worried about the gear, but they provided everything. Definitely a must-do in Crystal River!
