Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for ages 12 and up, since some cooking tasks might need a bit of maturity. Plus, it's a great way to bond with older kids or teens! Just keep in mind that younger ones might need a bit more supervision.
A: Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting a little messy since you’ll be cooking! An apron is a good idea, but they provide some materials, too. Just check the weather if you're doing it outdoors, I think it can get a bit warm in the kitchen.
A: The virtual experience is pretty easy! You’ll get a meal prep kit delivered ahead of time with all the ingredients. During the online session, the chef guides you through the cooking steps in real-time. It felt really personal, and you can ask questions as you go!

Thinking of gifting the Motherland Cooking Xperience - anyone tried it?
I'm looking at getting the Motherland Cooking Xperience for my parents. They love trying new cuisines and this one seems so unique! I like that it includes a meal prep kit for online experiences. Does anyone know how the in-person setting is? Is it cozy? Any tips on the best days to go?
Motherland Cooking Xperience - what a great time!
Just finished the in-person experience in Grand Rapids! It was so much fun cooking traditional African dishes while listening to live music. Plus, the flavors were incredible! Perfect for anyone who loves food and culture. Highly recommend it as a gift!
