Q&A
A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn’t cooperate! Just make sure to give them a call at least 24 hours in advance. They understand that weather can be unpredictable in the mountains, especially during the fall. I had to reschedule due to rain, and they were super accommodating!
A: Definitely wear layers! The weather can change quickly on the mountain. I’d suggest moisture-wicking clothes, good hiking boots, and a light jacket. The hike is pretty moderate—perfect for most people, but if you have anyone who's not too active, let them know it might be a stretch for them.
A: Totally! We took our 8 and 10-year-olds, and they loved it. The tour guide was great with kids, and there were plenty of stops for photos and leg-stretching. Just keep in mind that the hikes can be a bit tiring for younger ones, so go at a pace that suits them!

Just went on the Mount Rainier tour—what a day!
I just got back from the Mount Rainier Day Tour from Seattle, and wow, what an incredible experience! The views at Reflection Lake were absolutely stunning, and our tour guide really knew his stuff about the park's history. We got to hike a little and took some amazing pics at Narada Falls. Highly recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves nature! Just remember to dress in layers and bring a good camera.
Considering gifting the Mount Rainier tour—thoughts?
I’m thinking about gifting the Mount Rainier Day Tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love the outdoors but haven't hiked much. Do you think the pace is manageable for older folks? I just want them to enjoy it without feeling rushed.
