Just got back from the Mount Vernon tour—what a day!

I took the Mount Vernon Guided Estate Tour plus Old Town Alexandria with my partner last weekend, and wow, it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable about George Washington’s life and the history of Alexandria. The vehicle was really nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed exploring the colorful streets of Old Town. If you go, try to grab lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants afterward; they’re great! Totally worth the price.

Thinking of gifting the Mount Vernon tour—thoughts?

I’m considering buying this tour as a gift for my parents. They love history, but I’m worried if they’ll be able to handle the walking involved. Has anyone done this with older folks? What was the experience like?
