Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for this tour? Planning to take my kids.

A: There's no strict minimum age for this tour, so kids are definitely welcome! Just keep in mind that it can be a long day, especially with the nighttime part, so maybe bring something to keep them entertained during the bus rides. Parents have said that kids around 8-10 enjoy it the most since they can appreciate the history a little better.

Q: Can I reschedule if the weather is bad? What if it rains?

A: Yes, you can reschedule if the weather doesn't cooperate! Just contact Zohery Tours directly, and they’ll help you find another date. If it rains, most of the tour is still doable, but check in with them about specifics for Mount Vernon since some outdoor areas may be limited.

Q: What should we wear for the night tour? Is it cold at night?

A: Good question! It can get chilly at night, so I’d recommend layers. A light jacket or sweater is a good idea, especially since you'll be moving from warm indoor spots to cooler outdoor monuments. Comfortable shoes are a must since you'll be walking a lot!

Thinking about gifting the Mount Vernon & Night Tour combo!

Hey everyone! I'm considering this as a gift for my parents who are visiting DC. They love history and nighttime city views. Has anyone done the Mount Vernon part? I heard it’s beautiful and the night tour is a total experience! How much time do you get at Mount Vernon before heading to the night tour?

Just got back from the Mount Vernon & DC Night Tour!

OMG, this experience was AMAZING! The Mount Vernon estate is gorgeous, and the night tour of DC was like something out of a movie! The monuments lit up at night are breathtaking. We got to stop at the Lincoln Memorial and the MLK Memorial, both were so moving. Highly recommend for anyone thinking about it, just be ready to walk a lot!
