Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Mountaintop Zipline experience?

A: Yes, there is an age limit! Kids need to be at least 8 years old to zipline here, and they must weigh between 70 and 250 pounds. If you have younger kids, they could still join the ATV ride but won't be able to zipline. Just check their website for any updates before you go!

Q: How do I get to the zipline location? Is parking easy?

A: Getting there is pretty straightforward! The location is well-marked and there's a decent-sized parking lot available. Just be aware that it can fill up quickly during peak times. If you're visiting during summer or weekends, arrive a bit early to snag a spot. Google Maps should get you there without issue!

Q: What should I wear for the ziplining? Is it weather-dependent?

A: Great question! Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty—especially if it's been rainy or muddy. Closed-toe shoes are a must for the ATV ride and zipping, and consider layering up since it can get cooler at higher elevations. If there's bad weather, they do have a cancellation policy, so make sure you check that before your trip.

Just got back from the Mountaintop Zipline—what a rush!

I just did the Mountaintop Zipline in Gatlinburg last weekend and wow, was it incredible! The ATV ride up is part of the fun, and the views are breathtaking. Zipping side-by-side with my friend was a blast! Rappelling down was the cherry on top. Just make sure you’re ready for some adrenaline, 'cause it gets your heart racing. Highly recommend it as a gift, too!

Looking to buy this as a gift—any advice?

I'm thinking about gifting the Mountaintop Zipline experience for my sister's birthday. She loves adventures but has never ziplined before. Is it a good fit for a beginner? Also, how long does the whole experience take?
