Q&A
A: They usually hit up 4 different wineries depending on the guests' preferences! Some popular ones are Bowers Harbor Vineyards and Chateau Chantal. Just tell your guide which ones you're interested in, and they can customize the experience a bit. Plus, you get to enjoy the scenic views of Old Mission Peninsula while sipping wine in a luxury SUV!
A: The tour is primarily for adults since it's a wine tasting experience, but they welcome kids if you're bringing them along. Just keep in mind that the focus is on wine, so adults will be sipping while kids can enjoy the scenery. It's a great way to introduce them to the beautiful Traverse City area!
A: Late summer and early fall are the best times for this tour! The vineyards are gorgeous, and the weather is usually perfect for sipping wine outside. If it rains, they’ve got covered options at the wineries, but it’s always good to check the forecast before heading out. Just dress in layers since mornings can be chilly up there!

Thinking about gifting the Red Eye Wine Tour—any thoughts?
I'm looking at getting this movie stars 'Red Eye' Old Mission wine tour for my sister's birthday. She loves wine but has never done a wine tour before. Is it worth the price? I want her to have a memorable experience! Also, is it a good idea to go in early spring?
Red Eye Tour Was Incredible!
Just came back from the Red Eye tour in Traverse City and wow, it did not disappoint! We hit up some amazing wineries and the SUV ride was so comfortable. I highly recommend trying the Gamay wine they offer! The guide knew so much about each place we visited. Perfect gift idea!
