Q&A
A: Definitely dress in layers! The weather can change quickly up by Mt. Hood. I suggest bringing a lightweight jacket, especially for the stops at Multnomah Falls and Timberline Lodge. If you're planning to hike or walk around, comfy shoes are a must. Also, don't forget shades and sunscreen, the sun can be strong even when it's chilly.
A: Absolutely! This day trip is great for families. Kids love the waterfalls and the scenic views, and there's plenty of time for them to explore in Hood River. Just keep an eye on them near the falls and in the van. It’s a fun way to introduce them to Oregon's natural beauty.
A: Yes, you can reschedule! The guides are great about adapting to weather conditions. If there are major issues with visibility or safety, they’ll usually let you know ahead of time and offer to move your trip. Just make sure to give them a call the day before to check in.

Just did the Mt Hood trip and it was AMAZING!
I went on the Mt Hood Day Trip a couple of weeks ago and wow, what a blast! The Multnomah Falls were breathtaking and our guide was super knowledgeable. The drive through the Columbia River Gorge was so scenic. We even had time to grab lunch in Hood River, which had great local spots! Highly recommend this for anyone looking for a day adventure. Also, the Mercedes van was super comfy!
Thinking of gifting the Mt Hood trip for my partner’s birthday!
I'm really considering gifting this Mt Hood day trip to my partner's birthday. They're a big fan of nature and hikes. Do you think it’s a good idea? Also, how likely is it that we’ll encounter bad weather since we’re going in late November?
