Q&A

Q: Is there a minimum age for this tour? I want to gift it to my 10-year-old nephew.

A: There's no strict minimum age for the tour, but it’s really meant for kids who can handle a long day (8-9 hours). If your nephew is energetic and enjoys outdoor activities, he should love it! Just keep in mind, some parts might be less engaging for younger kids.

Q: How does lunch work during the tour? Is it included or do we buy it ourselves?

A: Lunch isn’t included in the tour price, but the guide gives you time to grab lunch at a stop during the day. There are some good spots near Mount Rushmore. Just make sure you watch the clock so you don't miss out on the rest of the tour!

Q: What if it rains? Do they cancel or reschedule the tour?

A: They usually run the tour rain or shine, but if the weather is really bad, they’ll reschedule you for a different day. They provide umbrellas in the van, so you’ll be covered for light rain! Just keep an eye on the forecast.

Just came back from the Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and Custer Park tour!

I just got back from the most amazing day trip! We saw Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse, and the wildlife loop at Custer was incredible. The guide was super knowledgeable, and we got to see bison right up close! The lunch stop was nice too, I grabbed a quick burger. I totally recommend this as a gift for anyone who loves the outdoors.

Thinking of gifting the tour, any tips?

I’m considering giving this tour experience to my parents. They love nature and history! What’s the best way to prepare for the day? Any tips on what to wear or bring?
