Q&A

Q: What's the best time of year to take the Mt. St. Helens Air Tour? I want to make sure the weather is good!

A: The best time for the Mt. St. Helens Air Tour is generally from late spring to early fall, around May to September. This is when the weather is usually clearer, giving you the best views of the volcano and the surrounding landscape. However, remember that weather can still change quickly, so keep an eye on the forecast before you go!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to go on this air tour? I want to bring my 10-year-old.

A: There's no specific age limit for the Mt. St. Helens Air Tour, but kids must be able to sit in their own seat and wear a seatbelt, which is typically fine for ages 2 and up. It’s a great experience for kids, just make sure they’re comfortable with flying.

Q: If the weather's bad, how do they handle rescheduling? Can I get a refund?

A: If the weather is bad and your flight gets canceled, they'll do their best to reschedule you for another date at no extra charge. They typically don't offer refunds unless there's a major issue, but rescheduling is pretty straightforward. Just make sure to contact them as soon as you know the weather is bad!

Just booked the Mt. St. Helens Air Tour! Any tips?

Hey everyone! I just booked the Mt. St. Helens Air Tour for my birthday next month and I'm so stoked! I've heard the views are incredible. I'm just a bit worried about the weather since I saw they can change the route based on that. Any tips on what to wear or bring? Also, do you think it’s worth it for the price, or is there a better experience I should consider?

Mt. St. Helens Air Tour - What an experience!

Just got back from the Mt. St. Helens Air Tour and wow, what a ride! The pilot was super nice and the views were breathtaking. We flew around the crater, and I could actually see the old lava flows. One tip: don’t forget your sunglasses, it gets bright up there! Totally recommend this for anyone looking for a unique experience.
