Q&A

Q: What's the age limit for kids on this experience?

A: There isn't a strict age limit, but kids as young as 5 seem to enjoy it the most. The guides are great with kids and really make it fun for everyone. Just remember, you'll need to supervise them closely while roasting s'mores!

Q: How's the parking situation if we're driving in?

A: If you're taking the cruise, you won't need to worry about parking since they pick you up right at the dock. If you drive in, there are a few public lots around downtown, but they can fill up quick during peak times. I'd suggest arriving early if you go that route.

Q: What happens if it rains? Is it still worth it?

A: The camp has some covered areas, so you can still enjoy the s'mores and see the puppies even if it drizzles a bit. Alaskan weather can be unpredictable, but the guides are great about keeping things moving no matter what! Just bring a rain jacket, and you'll be fine.

Just got back from Musher's Camp and it was AMAZING!

I gifted this experience to my girlfriend for her birthday, and we had such a blast! The bus ride through Skagway was super scenic, and we couldn't stop gushing over the puppies. Roasting s'mores while cuddling with them was the highlight. The basecamp has a cute cafe too, we grabbed some hot cocoa afterward. Totally worth it!

Considering the Musher's Camp experience - anyone done it?

I’m thinking about getting this for my kids. They love dogs but I’m wondering if the kids can really handle the whole experience. Is it mostly for adults? What’s the vibe like at the camp?
