Q&A
A: Yes! Guests must be at least 3 years old for this tour. It's a fun experience for families, just keep in mind that younger kids might not catch all the ghost stories. I saw a few little ones on my tour, and they had a blast looking at everything!
A: The tour lasts about 2 hours. It's a climate-controlled trolley, so you’ll be comfortable. I recommend wearing casual clothes and comfortable shoes since you’ll be hopping off briefly at a few stops. Don't forget your camera for the views!
A: They usually go out rain or shine unless the weather is severe. I went on a cloudy day, and it was still super fun! Just check the forecast and maybe bring a light jacket if it’s chilly when you start.

Just did the Myrtle Beach Ghosts and Pirates Trolley Tour - What a blast!
I took the Ghosts, Pirates and Historic Families Trolley Tour last weekend, and wow, it was awesome! The guide had so many fascinating stories about Murrells Inlet and the pirates that used to roam those shores. The stop at Pawleys Island Hammock Shops was a nice touch, too. We even saw a hammock being made! It was a perfect mix of history and some spooky tales. Definitely recommend it for anyone looking to explore the area beyond just the beach.
Thinking about buying the Ghosts, Pirates and Historic Families Tour as a gift!
I’m considering this trolley tour for my parents since they love ghost stories and local history. Has anyone given this as a gift? I know they’re pretty into walking tours, but wondering if this is a good fit for them? They’re not super mobile, so I hope it’s easy to get on and off the trolley.
