Q&A
A: There’s no strict age limit for this experience! Kids are totally welcome, and they usually have a blast. Just keep in mind that the carriage ride and harbor cruise might be more enjoyable for kids who are a bit older, but my 10-year-old loved it! Just make sure to bring along some snacks for the trip.
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate, Charleston Adventures will contact you to reschedule. They’re pretty flexible about it, and you usually have a chance to pick another date. Just be sure to check the forecast a few days in advance and have a backup plan just in case!
A: You usually get about an hour at the Historic Market, but it can depend on the group schedule. It’s enough time to browse and grab some souvenirs, but don’t expect to do a full shopping spree! If you’ve got specific things in mind, I’d suggest planning ahead.

Just came back from the Myrtle Beach to Charleston trip - wow!
I just did the Charleston tour last week, and I can’t recommend it enough! The carriage ride through the historic district was beautiful, and our guide was super knowledgeable. The harbor cruise was relaxing, and the lunch they provided was actually really tasty! Boone Hall Plantation was breathtaking. Honestly, it was one of the best day trips I've done. Thinking about taking my parents next time!
Considering this as a gift for my husband - any tips?
I’m thinking about booking the Myrtle Beach to Charleston trip for my husband’s birthday. He loves history and the outdoors. What should I know? Do you think it’s a good gift? Also, what should I pack for him? Any must-haves?
