Come experience the darker side of Salem on our night-time walking tour of Salem. We retell the most spine-chilling true crime tales of murder, mystery and macabre. Why did an insane woman in the early 1600s murder her child? Who was the famous hitman who murdered the slave trader in his sleep? Did the Boston Strangler really make a visit to Salem? These historical tales and much more will unfold on this whirlwind tour of this mysterious seaside city. This is the perfect tour for true crime fans and those who love a good scandalous story! Attention: Adult Mature content including descriptive graphic murders, sexual assault and torture. This tour is not appropriate for children under 13!! Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a paid Adult, with ticket. Younger children/chaperone will be asked to leave or transfer to a different tour (if space allows). Tours run RAIN or SHINE. Q: Is there an age limit for the tour? Can I bring my 12-year-old?

A: Yes, the tour is for adults only, so kids under 13 can't join. If you try to bring your 12-year-old, they will be asked to leave. Minors aged 13-17 must be with a paid adult, so it might be best to look for a different experience if they’re under 13.

Q: What should I wear? Is it outdoors the whole time?

A: Definitely dress for the weather since you’ll be outside for the entire tour! Comfortable shoes are a must because you’ll be walking a lot. Layers are a good idea, especially in cooler months. And don’t forget an umbrella if rain’s in the forecast—you’re going rain or shine!

Q: How hard is the walking? Is it suitable for someone not in shape?

A: The walking is pretty manageable, but you'll be on your feet for a couple of hours. If you can handle a leisurely stroll, it should be fine! There are some uneven sidewalks and stairs, though, so just take your time and enjoy the stories!

I just did the Mysteries and Murders of Salem tour last week, and wow, it was intense! The stories they tell are super creepy and really bring the darker side of Salem to life. Our guide was amazing—so knowledgeable! Just a heads up, make sure you're ready for some graphic details; it’s definitely not for the faint of heart. I think it’s a great gift for true crime lovers! Can’t wait to go back again in October!
