Q: Are there age limits for the Nags Head Kayak Tour? I'm thinking about getting this for my kids.

A: There's no strict age limit, but generally kids around 8 and up can handle a kayak with adult supervision. The tour guides are great about accommodating families, so they’ll help you decide what works best for your little ones. Just make sure everyone’s comfortable in the water!

Q: What should we wear for the kayak tour? Is it super wet?

A: Wear something that you don’t mind getting wet, like swim trunks or a quick-dry shirt. Water shoes or sandals with straps are also a good idea, as they can get slippery. And don’t forget sunscreen! Even on a cloudy day, the sun can sneak up on you.

Q: What happens if the weather turns bad? Can we reschedule our tour?

A: If the weather isn't safe for kayaking, they will usually contact you to reschedule. It's best to call ahead if you're unsure, especially during hurricane season. They’re pretty flexible with rescheduling, so don’t worry too much!

I went on the Nags Head Kayak Tour last week with my wife, and we had the best time exploring the Outer Banks. The guides were super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We even saw some dolphins! The gear was all in great shape too. It’s a must-do if you’re in the area. Can’t wait to do it again!
