Q&A

Q: Are there age limits for this tour? Can kids participate?

A: There aren't any specific age limits for the Nantucket Coast to Coast tour! It’s great for families since you can bike or drive at your own pace. Just make sure your kids can handle the biking part if you choose that option. A good idea would be to bring along some snacks and plenty of water, especially if it’s a hot day.

Q: What if the weather is bad? Can we reschedule?

A: The great thing about this experience is that it’s self-guided! So you can choose when to go based on the weather. If it looks rainy, you can just pick another day. Just check the weather forecast for Nantucket before heading out!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it strenuous?

A: Wear comfortable clothes and good sneakers or biking shoes. If you're biking, I’d suggest padded shorts—they really help! The tour isn't overly strenuous, but there are some hills. If you can ride a bike comfortably, you should be fine. Just take breaks when you need them!

Thinking about gifting the Nantucket Coast to Coast Tour - any tips?

I’m considering gifting the Nantucket Coast to Coast Self-Guided Tour to my parents for their anniversary. I think they’d love the freedom of biking or driving around. I just worry if they’ll manage the biking since they’re not super active anymore. Any advice on how this works? Like how hard is it to follow the app?

Just did the Nantucket Coast to Coast Tour - here’s my experience!

Wow, the Nantucket tour was amazing! We biked from Madaket to Sconset and saw so many cool sights. The lighthouses were stunning, and the audio tour was super informative. It took us about 4 hours with breaks, but we weren’t in a rush. Definitely worth it for anyone who loves exploring!
