Q&A
A: Honestly, spring and early fall are the sweet spots for this hike! The weather is usually mild, and you get to see the wildflowers in bloom or the fall colors. Summer can be a bit hot, but if you're okay with that, it’s still beautiful. Just check the weather forecast before you go!
A: No official age limit, but younger kids should be able to handle a 3.25-mile hike with minimal elevation. It’s recommended for ages 8 and up, but if your kids are active, they’ll likely be fine! Just check with the guide on the day of your hike if you have any concerns.
A: Dress in layers! It can get chilly in the woods even during the summer. Wear comfy hiking shoes since the trails can be a bit uneven. Also, breathable clothing is a good idea since you’ll be walking for a while. And don’t forget your hat and sunglasses for sun protection!

Just got back from the Napa Valley Redwood Hike! Incredible!
I did the guided hike last weekend and it was awesome! The 3.25 miles felt just right, and the guide was super knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. We even saw a deer in the distance! If you're thinking of gifting this to someone, do it! It’s such a peaceful experience, and exploring the redwoods is a must-do when in Napa.
Considering the Napa Valley Redwood Hike for my birthday gift!
I'm planning to treat myself to the Napa Valley Redwood Hike for my upcoming birthday! I’ve never hiked in a redwood forest before and I've heard such great things. I’m just curious about how the weather usually is in late September. What's the vibe like?
