Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to join the cruise?

A: There’s no specific age limit for the Narrated Harbor Luncheon Riverboat Cruise, but kids are definitely welcome! I took my 6-year-old, and she loved the stories and the buffet. Just keep an eye on them near the railing, since it can get a bit crowded!

Q: How is the food on the cruise? Is it worth it?

A: The food is pretty solid for a buffet! Expect traditional Southern dishes like fried chicken, collard greens, and shrimp & grits. I thought the flavors were great, and you can’t beat the views while you eat. Definitely worth it for the experience alone!

Q: What’s the parking situation like near the dock?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky during peak times, but there are a few parking garages close to River Street. I parked at the one near the Hyatt, which was about a 5-minute walk to the dock. Just make sure to arrive early so you have time to exchange your voucher!

Just got back from the Narrated Harbor Luncheon Cruise, and it was awesome!

I went on the cruise last week with some friends, and we had such a great time! The Southern buffet was delicious, especially the fried chicken and the peach cobbler. The captain’s stories about Savannah's history were super interesting, too. Just be ready for crowds, as it was packed! Overall, totally worth it for a fun afternoon on the river.

Thinking of gifting the riverboat cruise, any tips?

I’m considering this cruise as a gift for my parents. They love history and good food, so it seems perfect! Any tips on what to expect or how to make the experience better for them? I want to make sure they enjoy every bit of it!
