Q&A

Q: How long is the tram tour and do we get to see the Mission Control?

A: The tram tour lasts about 90 minutes, and yes, you do get to see Mission Control! It's pretty awesome to stand where so much history has been made. Make sure to bring your camera for some great shots!

Q: Is there an age limit for kids, and are there any special considerations for younger visitors?

A: There's no official age limit, but younger kids might need a bit of extra attention during the tram ride and exhibits. The interactive Mission Mars exhibit is great for all ages, so they’ll have a blast! Just keep an eye on them in busy areas.

Q: What should we wear? Is it mostly indoors or outdoors?

A: You’ll want to dress comfortably! The indoor exhibits are air-conditioned, but the tram tour and Rocket Park are outdoors. I'd recommend wearing sunscreen and a hat if it’s sunny, and bring water to stay hydrated.

Just got back from the Space Center Houston tour! What an adventure!

I recently took the NASA Space Center Self-Guided Tour and it was incredible! The tram tour was the highlight for me – getting to see Mission Control up close was surreal. The kids loved the interactive exhibits, especially the Mission Mars one. Some of the artifacts, like the moon rocks, blew my mind. Definitely worth the price! Just a heads up, parking can get tricky, so arrive early. Anyone else been? What was your favorite part?

Considering gifting this NASA tour for my dad's birthday!

Thinking about getting my dad the NASA Space Center tour for his birthday. He’s a huge space enthusiast and loves learning about rockets and missions. I read the tram tour is a must-do! But I’m a bit worried about the crowds. Is it usually packed on weekends? Any tips on the best time to go?
