Q&A
A: No specific age restrictions for the Arlington Cemetery upgrade! However, keep in mind that the walking tour can be a bit strenuous, so it's best for older kids and adults. Just check with the provider if you have any small children joining, as they might have suggestions for keeping them engaged.
A: Comfort is key! Wear comfortable walking shoes since you'll be on your feet a lot. Dress in layers because mornings can be chilly, but it warms up as the day goes on. If it’s spring, a light jacket should do it. Don't forget sunscreen!
A: Rain or shine, the tour usually goes on! The bus portions are covered, but if it’s heavy rain, they might skip some of the walking parts. If you're worried, it’s best to check in with DC Guided Tours directly for their weather policy.

Just did the National Mall Highlights tour! What an experience!
I just got back from the National Mall Highlights tour, and wow, I was blown away! It was so cool to see the Lincoln Memorial and the White House in one morning. Our guide was super knowledgeable and made the history come alive. We opted for the Arlington Cemetery upgrade, and seeing JFK's grave was really moving. The Changing of the Guard was a highlight for sure! Anyone else do this recently? Would love to hear your thoughts!
Looking for a great gift idea – National Mall tour?
I’m thinking of gifting this National Mall Highlights tour to my parents for their anniversary. They love history and exploring new places! Has anyone done it? How long is the walking part at Arlington? Trying to figure out if it's a good fit for them since they’re in their 60s. Any feedback would be super helpful!
