Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but I’d recommend it for kids who are at least 7 or 8. The tour lasts for about 3 hours and involves a lot of standing and walking. I took my 10-year-old, and they loved seeing the monuments all lit up at night! Just make sure they can stay engaged during the tour.

Q: What should we wear? It gets chilly in D.C. at night.

A: Definitely dress in layers! The tour runs from spring through fall, and nights can get surprisingly cool, especially near the water. I wore a light jacket over a sweater, and that worked perfectly. Comfortable shoes are a must since you’ll be getting off the bus for photos, too.

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: They usually run the tour rain or shine since you're inside a coach bus for most of it. If it’s really severe weather, they might reschedule. I’d suggest checking the weather forecast closer to your tour date, and if there are any concerns, reach out to the provider. They’re super responsive!

Just did the Night-Time Tour and WOW!

I just got back from the National Mall Night-Time Sightseeing Tour, and it was incredible! We stopped at all the major sites like the Lincoln Memorial and the MLK Memorial, all lit up against the night sky. The guide was super informative and made the experience even better. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a unique way to see D.C. at night. Just make sure to dress warmly; it got a bit chilly by the water!

Considering this for a gift – thoughts?

I'm thinking about getting this night tour as a gift for my parents. They’ve always wanted to see D.C. but never get the chance to visit. I love that it includes stops at the White House and the WWII Memorial. Has anyone done it recently? How was the experience?
