Q&A
A: There's no strict minimum age for the boat cruise, but I'd recommend it for kids who can sit still and enjoy the sights. It’s about a 40-50 minute ride, so bring some snacks if you have little ones. Most families with kids ages 5 and up have a great time, and the guides are super friendly and accommodating!
A: If the weather doesn’t cooperate and the boat cruise can’t run, they’ll take you to the Jefferson and Eisenhower Memorials instead. Those are amazing spots too! And you’ll still have the full tour experience with all the landmarks. Just make sure to dress for the day since you’ll be outside for a while.
A: It’s pretty casual! You’ll be walking quite a bit, so comfy shoes are a must. Layers are a good idea since it can get chilly near the water on the cruise. If you're going during cherry blossom season, a light jacket should do the trick. Just be prepared for some walking and outdoor time!

Thinking about gifting the National Mall Tour with Cherry Blossoms!
Hey all! I’m looking to buy the National Mall Tour with Cherry Blossoms for my parents’ anniversary. They love history and walking tours, and I think they’d enjoy seeing all the major landmarks. Just wondering if anyone has done this tour and if it’s really worth it? I know cherry blossom season is in late March, so I hope they get to see those too. Any tips on making it special?
Just got back from the National Mall Tour, it was incredible!
I just wanted to share my experience from the National Mall Tour with Cherry Blossoms. We saw all the iconic spots like the Lincoln Memorial and the White House, plus the boat cruise was a highlight! Seeing the city from the Potomac was breathtaking. Our guide was full of fun facts. If you’re considering it, do it! You won't regret it!
