Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for the Natural Bridge Caverns tour?

A: Great question! There’s no specific age limit for the Discovery Cavern Tour, but kids as young as 3 can join. It’s a pretty family-friendly experience, just keep in mind that the tour involves walking 180 feet underground, so some little ones might get a bit tired. Also, strollers aren’t allowed inside the cave, so plan accordingly!

Q: What should we wear for the caverns tour? Is it cold down there?

A: Definitely dress in layers! It stays a cool 70 degrees year-round in the caverns, so a light jacket might be a good idea. Also, wear comfortable walking shoes because you'll be on your feet for about 75 minutes. Don't bring a bag if you can help it; they’ll make you leave it outside the caverns.

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up after buying the tour?

A: Yes! You can reschedule your tour up to 48 hours in advance. They make it pretty easy, just call their service number. If you miss that window, you might lose your reservation, so plan ahead. It’s a good idea to check their policy before you book just to be safe.

Thinking about gifting the Natural Bridge Caverns tour!

I'm really considering getting the Natural Bridge Caverns Discovery Tour as a birthday gift for my brother's family. I read that it includes a 75-minute guided tour which sounds super fun! Can anyone who’s done it share how the experience was and if you think it's good for kids? Also, do you get to see some of the cool rock formations up close?

Natural Bridge Caverns - A Hidden Gem in San Antonio!

Just got back from the Natural Bridge Caverns tour and wow, what an experience! The guide made it fun and educational. I loved how they explained the science behind the formations as we walked. After the tour, we checked out the ziplines and they were a blast! Highly recommend it for families or anyone who loves nature. Just remember it can get a bit busy on weekends!
