The Midway Spa and Utah Crater is North Americas ONLY YEAR ROUND Natural Hot Spring and Spa where the temperature is 94F. It allows for Guests to Swim and Soak while relaxing in the Natural Indoor Crater first discovered by the local Indians years ago. It is not volcanic in nature. It is a geothermal hot spring that formed over thousands of years. The water source is 2 miles down. This is truely a unique and fun experience that should NOT be missed.

Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for kids to enjoy the hot springs?

A: Yes, kids are welcome! The spa recommends that children be at least 5 years old to enjoy the soak. Just keep in mind that they need to be supervised by an adult at all times. It’s a really fun experience for families!

Q: What should we wear? Is it swimsuit only?

A: Definitely wear your swimsuit! You’ll also want to bring a cover-up for when you’re walking around the spa area. It's comfy, but you might want flip-flops too since you’ll be in and out of water.

Q: What happens if it rains? Does the experience get canceled?

A: No worries about the weather! Since it’s an indoor hot spring, your soak won’t be affected by rain. Just check your reservation for any specific weather-related policies, but generally, they run all year round regardless.

Just got back from the Crater Soak & Swim in Park City!

Wow, what an experience! We went to the Natural Indoor Hot Spring and Spa in Midway and it was so relaxing. The water was a perfect 94F, and soaking in the crater felt like a mini-vacation. Best part? The private transportation was super convenient! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a unique gift or just a chill day out.

Considering the Crater Soak as a gift for my partner!

I’m thinking about gifting this experience but I'm a little hesitant. Has anyone done this? Is it romantic? The idea of soaking together sounds nice, but I want to make sure it’s not too crowded or anything.
