Q&A
A: Yes, kids are welcome on this experience! However, they should be at least 6 years old to participate in the kayaking or paddleboarding. There are life jackets provided, and it's really great for families. Just make sure to check the weather beforehand, as they might have restrictions if there are strong winds.
A: Parking is generally pretty easy! There’s a lot near the launch site, but it can fill up during the weekends. Arrive early to snag a good spot. The location in Miami has good signage, so you shouldn't have trouble finding it. If you’re using a GPS, just type in 'So Flo Water Adventures' and it should take you right there!
A: Wear lightweight, quick-drying clothes and definitely bring a hat and sunscreen! It can get hot out there, so you might want a swimsuit under your clothes. Also, water shoes are a good idea since you might be getting in and out of the kayak. The water is usually warm, but if you go early in the morning, it can be a bit chilly until the sun comes up.

Just did the Nature & Island Exploration—amazing time!
Hey everyone! I just got back from the SUP/kayak adventure in Miami, and wow, it was super fun! We saw 3 manatees and tons of different birds. The guide was really chill and let us explore at our own pace, which I loved. Plus, the fresh fruit snacks were so refreshing after paddling around in the sun. Highly recommend this experience for anyone looking for a unique gift!
Gift ideas for nature lovers—thoughts on the kayak experience?
I'm considering the Nature & Island Exploration as a gift for my sister who loves the outdoors. She’s done some kayaking before but isn’t super experienced. Is this good for beginners? And what happens if it rains?
