Q&A
A: Definitely wear comfortable, waterproof hiking shoes since the trails can be muddy. I'd recommend bringing a rain jacket too because the weather in Sitka can change quickly. Dress in layers; it can be cool in the morning and warmer by afternoon. Just be ready for anything!
A: Yes! The hiking tour is suitable for nature lovers of all ages, including kids. It’s a great way to introduce them to the beauty of Alaska without the strenuous parts. Just keep an eye on your little ones since some trails can be uneven.
A: Yes, you can usually reschedule if you let them know in advance. It’s best to check their policy when booking. They’re pretty flexible, especially with unexpected weather in Alaska!

Just booked the Sitka hiking tour! Any tips?
I’m so excited to try out the Nature Lovers Sitka Hiking Tour next month! I love hiking but I’ve never been to Alaska before. What should I expect? Should I pack anything special? Also, how intense are the hikes? I hope it’s not too strenuous!
Did the Sitka hiking tour last week! Here’s my experience.
I just got back from the Sitka hiking tour, and wow, it was amazing! Our guide was super knowledgeable about the plants and wildlife. We even spotted some eagles! The best part was definitely the hidden spots we got to see, away from all the crowds. Bring a good camera and be ready for some light hiking – it was perfect for me and my partner!
