Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this food tour?

A: There's no strict age limit, but it's recommended for adults due to the nature of the food and drink pairings. Kids might not fully appreciate the experience or the flavors, but if they’re food adventurous, they’re welcome! Just keep in mind that some places might not be super kid-friendly.

Q: How spicy is the food on this tour? I have a friend who's not great with heat.

A: The tour does feature New Mexican-inspired dishes, which can have some heat. However, the guides are really accommodating and can adjust the spice level for those who aren’t up for a kick. Just let them know in advance!

Q: What's the parking situation around Santa Fe Plaza for this tour?

A: Parking can be a bit tricky, especially during peak hours. There are a few lots and garages nearby, but they can fill up quickly. I recommend arriving early or checking out the nearby street parking. Just give yourself some extra time if you can!

Discussions

Just did the New Mexican Flavors Food Tour and it was amazing!

I recently went on the New Mexican Flavors Food Tour around the Santa Fe Plaza, and it blew me away! The tour guides were super knowledgeable and filled with so many fun stories about the history of the area. The food was incredible – we had some spicy green chile stew that was out of this world, and the dessert was a traditional bizcochito that I can't stop thinking about! If you’re looking for a unique gift for foodie friends, this is definitely it. Just a heads up, wear comfy shoes since it's a walking tour!

Considering gifting this food tour, any tips?

I want to get the New Mexican Flavors Food Tour for my sister’s birthday, but I’m not sure if she’ll love it. She likes food, but she’s not a huge fan of spicy stuff. Anyone know if they can adjust the spice level? Also, what should she wear for the tour? Any input would be super helpful!
