Q&A

Q: What should I wear for the airboat ride? Is it cold on the water?

A: Wear something comfortable that you don’t mind getting wet. It can get breezy on the water, so layering is a good idea. I’d recommend a light jacket or a windbreaker, especially if you’re going early in the morning or later in the day. Also, don’t forget sunglasses and sunscreen!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up? How does that work?

A: Yes, you can reschedule! Just make sure you contact the provider at least 48 hours before your scheduled ride. They’re pretty flexible, but the sooner you let them know, the better your chances are of getting a different time that works for you.

Q: Is this airboat ride suitable for kids? What age do they recommend?

A: Absolutely, it's family-friendly! They recommend kids around 5 years and older, but younger ones are allowed if they can fit safely in the provided gear. Just double-check with the provider about any specific requirements for smaller kids.

Looking to buy the airboat ride as a gift - is it worth it?

I’m thinking of gifting the New Orleans airboat ride for my dad's birthday. He loves nature and wildlife, and I'm sure he’d be thrilled to spot gators and all that cool stuff! Has anyone done it? How was the experience? Any tips on the best time to go?

Just got back from the airboat ride - amazing experience!

Wow, I just did the airboat ride near Jean Lafitte Park, and it was fantastic! The guide was super friendly and we spotted tons of wildlife, including an alligator right next to the boat! Highly recommend going early in the morning for cooler temps and fewer crowds.
