Q&A
A: There's no strict age limit for the Esplanade Ridge tour. It's great for families! Kids will enjoy the stories, and since it’s self-guided, you can go at your own pace. Just keep in mind that younger kids may need a little help with the app. Also, it’s a fair amount of walking, so maybe bring a stroller for little ones.
A: Since this is a self-guided tour, you can go whenever you want! If it rains, just wait for a better day. You also don’t need to book a specific time, so you can plan around the weather as needed. If you download the app, you can still access it offline whenever you're ready.
A: The tour involves a moderate amount of walking, it's about a mile long and pretty relaxed. The app gives you clear directions, and you'll get to see gorgeous sights along Esplanade Avenue. Just be sure to wear comfortable shoes, as some streets can be a bit uneven. Overall, it's not too hard to navigate!

Considering buying the Esplanade Ridge tour for my sister's birthday!
Hey everyone! I’m thinking about getting the self-guided audio tour of the Creole Garden District for my sister's birthday. She loves history and exploring new places. The fact that you can do it at your own pace sounds perfect. But does anyone know how long the tour actually takes? Also, is it really interesting for someone who’s not super into history?
Just did the New Orleans Esplanade tour—amazing experience!
I just finished the self-guided audio tour in the Garden District and wow, it was incredible! Starting at Ashton’s Bed and Breakfast was a nice touch. The stories about the Creole culture really brought the area to life for me. I went alone and felt comfortable the whole time. Super easy to use the app, too. I can’t recommend it enough if you're in NOLA!
