Q&A

Q: Is there a dress code for the food walking tour in the French Quarter?

A: There's no strict dress code, but I'd recommend wearing comfortable shoes since you'll be walking a lot. It can get hot in New Orleans, so light, breathable clothing is a good idea. Also, keep an umbrella handy if rain is in the forecast!

Q: How much food do you get on the tour? Is it enough for a meal?

A: You’ll sample a variety of dishes throughout the tour, enough to get a good taste of New Orleans cuisine, but it may not be a full meal. I'd suggest grabbing a light breakfast before you go. The portions are perfect for tasting, though!

Q: Can you reschedule if something comes up?

A: Yes, you can usually reschedule, but it’s best to do so at least 24 hours in advance. Just reach out to the provider, and they’ll help you find another time. It’s super flexible, which is great for planning!

Just did the New Orleans Food Walking Tour! Mind-blowing!

OMG, I just got back from the food tour in the French Quarter, and it was an absolute blast! We visited 4 different spots, including this iconic gumbo place that had the best flavors ever! The guide explained so much about the difference between Cajun and Creole cooking. I can't believe how much history is packed into each dish. If you're thinking about gifting this, DO IT! Such a fun way to experience NOLA.

Is the Food Tour kid-friendly?

I'm looking to buy this food walking tour as a gift for my family, but I have two kids aged 8 and 10. Are kids allowed? Will they enjoy it? I want them to learn but also have fun!
