Q&A
A: Yep! They really do provide ponchos if it rains. I did the tour last month, and we got hit with a downpour during our French Quarter Walking Tour. The ponchos were a lifesaver! Just make sure to check the weather before you head out, but you'll be taken care of if it rains while you're on the tour.
A: Definitely! My kids loved the double-decker bus and the guides made the history really engaging with stories. The walking tours might be a bit long for very young kids, but older ones (like 8+) can enjoy it. Just bring some snacks and keep them entertained during the bus rides!
A: So, the walking tours are first-come, first-served, and they run every hour from 11am to 3pm. Just make sure to hop off at Stop #1 for the French Quarter tour or Stop #12 for the Garden District. It’s best to arrive at least 15 minutes early to secure your spot! The ticket you buy is valid for 72 hours, so you can spread the tours out during your visit.

Thinking of gifting the New Orleans Hop-On Hop-Off package!
Hey everyone! I’m considering getting the New Orleans Hop-On Hop-Off Unlimited Sightseeing Package for my parents as a gift. They love history and exploring new places. I read that the Garden District tour is really cool, and I think they’d enjoy hopping on and off the bus. Do you think it's a good idea for them? Any tips?
Just did the Hop-On Hop-Off tour, and it was amazing!
I just got back from the New Orleans Hop-On Hop-Off tour and wow, what a great experience! The bus rides were fun, and the French Quarter walking tour was super interesting. Our guide was so passionate about the history. Highly recommend the Garden District tour too! Just make sure to wear comfy shoes!
