Visit the home of Marie Laveau, New Orleans’ queen of Voodoo, and discover traditional burial practices at the cemetery from your guide, who shares legendary stories and spooky tales.  To add to the fun and entertainment of this tour guests will be allowed to stop in bars along the tour route and purchase a to go drink before the group heads out to the next location. Q: Is there an age limit for kids on this tour? Want to take my 12-year-old.

A: There’s no strict age limit, but since it’s a walking tour with some spooky stories, it might be better for older kids. Some bars along the route don’t allow kids, so just keep an eye on that. That said, it's a fun way to explore New Orleans and kids usually love the legends!

Q: What should we wear for this tour? Is it casual?

A: Definitely wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot around the French Quarter. Casual attire is totally fine! The weather in New Orleans can be pretty hot, so dress light. You might want to bring a light jacket if you're going in the evening.

Q: What happens if it rains? Will they cancel the tour?

A: They typically run the tour rain or shine unless there's severe weather. Bring an umbrella just in case! A little rain adds to the spooky atmosphere anyway. Just be sure to check your email for any updates from the tour provider.

Just did the Legends & Folklore Tour! What a blast!

I recently went on the New Orleans Legends, Folklore, Myths, Superstitions and Spells Tour and it was such an awesome experience! Our guide was super knowledgeable and shared the coolest stories about Marie Laveau and the cemeteries. Stopping at the bars on the way made it even better. I snagged a cocktail to-go and enjoyed it while learning about local legends. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting NOLA!
