Q&A
A: Yes, the Garden District Food and History Tour is suitable for kids! It’s a great way for families to explore New Orleans. I took my 10 and 12-year-olds, and they loved the stories about the mansions and the food. Just keep in mind that they might not be into all the historical bits, but the snacks and drinks will definitely keep them engaged!
A: You can dress pretty casual! Just wear comfy walking shoes since you'll be on your feet a bit. Light layers are good too, depending on the weather. And definitely bring a face mask since it’s mentioned in the details. I wore shorts and a tee, and it was perfect!
A: Definitely! The provider is pretty flexible with rescheduling, but it's best to give them at least 24 hours notice if possible. I had to change my tour date once, and they accommodated me without any hassle. Just shoot them a message ahead of time!

Just did the Garden District Tour - amazing!
I went on the New Orleans Weekend Garden District Food and History Tour last weekend, and it was so much fun! We stopped at three places for food, and the beignets were to die for! The guide shared cool stories about the mansions and the history of the area. The weather was perfect too! Highly recommend it as a gift for anyone visiting NOLA.
Considering gifting this tour - any insights?
My friend loves food and history, and I think this tour would be perfect for her birthday! But I’m a bit worried about the weather. If it rains, does the tour still go on? Also, what’s the food like? Any must-try dishes?
