Zip NOLA is New Orleans' and the World's FIRST ever fully aquatic swamp zipline! With over a half mile of ziplines and suspension bridges spanning the Maurepas Swamp, Zip NOLA is the premier activity for nature lovers and thrill seekers alike. View swamp critters and the amazing swamp ecosystem from the comfort of the moss covered cypress treetops! Zip NOLA’s facility has many amenities including a 1200 sq ft gift shop with the latest and greatest New Orleans souvenirs, gifts, and snack/beverage items. Our shop also boasts a phenomenal enclosure for our baby alligators and turtles! We also have spacious restrooms, locker storage, green space picnic area, and an expansive 2000 sq ft elevated seating area overlooking the beautiful cypress-filled Maurepas Swamp. Guests can take in breathtaking sights of moss covered cypress swamp, while they also view the many wildlife that frequent the area. Alligators can be readily seen, as well as a plethora of other swamp critters!

Q: Is there an age limit for the zipline tour? I want to buy this for my kids who are 8 and 12.

A: Yes, there is an age limit for the Zip NOLA swamp zipline. Kids must be at least 7 years old to participate, and they also need to weigh between 60 and 250 lbs. So, your 12-year-old should be good to go, but check your 8-year-old's weight first. The staff is super helpful, so if you have any more questions, just reach out to them directly!

Q: What happens if it rains on the day of our tour? Can we reschedule?

A: If the weather looks bad, Zip NOLA will contact you to reschedule. They’re pretty flexible about it, and you can usually pick a new date without any issues. Just keep an eye on the forecast and make sure to give them a call if you have concerns!

Q: What should we wear for the zipline? I want to be comfortable but also safe.

A: Wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty, as you might brush up against the trees. Closed-toe shoes are a must, and I’d recommend wearing something that allows for movement, like athletic wear. Avoid loose items like long scarves or big jewelry since you'll be zipping around!

Just did the Zip NOLA Swamp Zipline and it was AMAZING!

I went with some friends last weekend and I can't recommend the Zip NOLA swamp zipline enough! The views of the cypress trees were gorgeous, and we even saw a few alligators in the water. The staff was super friendly and made us feel safe. A total must-do if you’re in New Orleans! The whole experience lasted about 1.5 hours, and it was totally worth the price.
