Q&A
A: Yes, this experience can definitely be fun for kids! Since it’s more of an exploration game, it allows for a lot of interaction and problem-solving. Just keep in mind that some of the clues might be a bit challenging for younger kids, so you might want to join in to help him out. Overall, it’s a great way to learn about NYC while having fun!
A: You’ll need to download the Questo app before you start. After booking, they’ll send you instructions on how to do that, which is super easy. Just make sure you have your phone charged and ready to go when you start the game. It really enhances the experience!
A: Spring and early fall are ideal since the weather in NYC is usually mild and perfect for walking around. Avoid winter if you can; it can get pretty chilly and snowy. Just check the forecast a week ahead of time, and if weather looks bad, you can always reschedule if needed!

Just did the NYC Celebrity Chef Tour – Here’s my take!
I recently did the New York Celebrity Chef Self Guided Tour, and it was such a fun way to explore the city! The clues really took us to some hidden gems around the Flatiron Building and Chelsea. I loved the mix of history and storytelling, plus the chance to see places like the Moxy Chelsea Hotel. Totally worth the time, and we were able to go at our own pace! I’d recommend getting your own app download for an optimal experience though.
Thinking of gifting this tour to my foodie friend!
I'm considering getting this NYC Celebrity Chef tour for my friend who loves cooking shows! The idea of solving clues while walking around sounds super fun. But, I'm a bit worried about how long it takes. Anyone know if you can go at your own pace?
