Q&A

Q: Is there an age limit for this Mafia tour in Little Italy?

A: There’s no strict age limit, but it’s more suitable for adults and older teens since the content can be quite intense. If you’re thinking of bringing younger kids, I’d recommend checking with the guides first to see if they think it'll be appropriate for them. Just keep in mind it’s all about the Mafia’s history and some stories might be a bit graphic.

Q: What should I wear for the walking tour?

A: Comfort over style! Wear comfy shoes since you'll be walking a lot through the East Village to Little Italy. The guides mentioned it’s about 2-3 miles, and the sidewalks can be uneven. Dress in layers since it can get chilly in the evening, especially near the water. And if it’s rainy, definitely bring a poncho or umbrella!

Q: What happens if it rains? Do they cancel the tour?

A: The tour generally runs rain or shine, but if there’s severe weather, they’ll reach out to reschedule or offer a refund. It’s always good to check the forecast before you go. Bring an umbrella just in case, and don’t let a little rain dampen the experience—those cannolis taste even better when you’re cozy inside a cafe!

Just got back from the Mafia History Tour in Little Italy! Wow!

I bought this tour as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, and we had an amazing time! The NYPD guide was super knowledgeable, and hearing real stories about the mafia while walking past all those iconic spots was surreal. The food was included—seriously, that spaghetti and cannoli combo was legit! Can’t recommend it enough if you’re into history or just want a fun night out in NYC.

Considering gifting the Mafia tour—any last tips?

I’m thinking about getting this tour for my dad’s retirement gift. He loves mob movies! Anything I should know before I pull the trigger? Would it be suitable for a larger group? Also, how’s the food if you’re vegetarian?
